About P.A. College of Engineering, Mangalore
P.A. College of Engineering (PACE) was established in the year 2000 under the aegis of PAET, with an aim to provide a career-oriented professional education and to produce technically competent engineers with moral and ethical values. The institution is dedicated to promoting an effective learning environment that encourages excellence and diversity in thoughts and endeavors.
PACE is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and is certified to ISO 9001-2008.
P.A. College of Engineering which instituted with a total intake of 240 students- 60 students each in four disciplines of engineering, has now grown in leaps and bounds. Over the 15 years, new undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs in various branches of engineering, MBA courses, and Research programs were added to meet the growing demand in the industry and the intake has been increased to 450 in Engineering courses. Teaching and research facilities at PACE are already among the best and continues to improve. Well qualified faculty with an international reputation, a well-developed campus, and outstanding infrastructure make PACE much sought after for technical and management education. The institution regularly invites experts from industry and academia for interaction with students. ELIGIBILITY
The candidate shall have passed the Second year Pre-University or XII std or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics and has secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages of the study. 40% marks in the case of Karnataka candidates who belong to SC, ST, and OBC.
NOTE: LATERAL ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
Candidates shall have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the final year.
CET ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
CET is conducted every year by the government of Karnataka through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Only Karnataka students can appear for this entrance exam.
The seat allocation depends on the rank and choice of the student. The fee structure is decided by the Govt. of Karnataka every year.

MANAGEMENT QUOTA ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
Candidates interested to join under management/ NRI quota have to collect the Brochure and application forms from the Admissions Office and submit the duly filled in forms along with the documents required and photographs. After the document verification, they have to attend the counseling session. Admission slip/ Payment receipts need to be retained for future reference.

SEAT ALLOTMENT
The allotment and distribution of the seats are as follows
Common Entrance Test (CET) by Government of Karnataka - 40% Seats
Management Quota – 60% Seats

SSLC marks card – Original and 2 copies
PUC/ Plus Two marks card – Original and 2 copies
Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended.
Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended.
Migration Certificate for Non-Karnataka students.
Passport Size photographs – 5 numbers.
SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship is available for meritorious students. Scholarship amount depends on the marks scored in core subjects in PUC/Plus Two exams. Please contact the Admissions Officer for more details.
